The protection of your personal data will be handled very seriously. We always treat your personal data in accordance with the legally data protection regulations. We designated a reliable internal data protection officer. In the following we would like to inform you about the processing of personal data.

Collection and processing of personal data

In principle, you can use our online offer without disclosing your identity. Should we request personal data (such as name, address or e-mail address) on the website, e.g. as part of contact forms or when registering, this is done on a voluntary basis. We use this information for our own business purposes (such as sending the requested materials/information).
If you have any questions, we offer you the opportunity to contact us using a form provided on our website. The data marked as mandatory is required to assign and answer the enquiry. Further information can be provided voluntarily. The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be deleted after completion of the enquiry made by you as well as after expiry of the tax and commercial law storage obligations.
Once you have given your consent – for example for the purpose of sending a newsletter or other interesting information from our company – you can revoke it at any time without giving reasons with effect for the future. You can use the above-mentioned contact form or any other method specified within the newsletter for this purpose.
Within the registration and use of the newsletter service of Armadillo Tex GmbH, your personal data will be used exclusively for the purpose of sending e-mails with information on products, dates and events organised by Armadillo Tex GmbH. Protocols are created and processed for statistical purposes each time the website is accessed, whereby the individual user remains anonymous:

  • IP is evaluated to determine country of origin and provider
  • Browser, operating system, installed plug-ins and screen resolution

The above data will be processed by us on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO for the following purposes:

  • Evaluation of system safety and stability as well as
  • for other administrative purposes

We reserve the right to subsequently check this data if we become aware of concrete indications of illegal use. The data will be deleted immediately if they are no longer required for the purpose, at the latest after six months.

Passing on the data

Passing the data to third parties, for commercial or non-commercial purposes, will not be done without your express consent. We only pass on your personal data to third parties if this is legally permissible [e.g. on the basis of Article 6 DSGVO] and/or necessary. In some cases, we use service providers for the legally required order processing of data; for example, the website is hosted and maintained by Polaris Media GmbH. If you use our newsletter service, e-mails are also sent via Polaris Media GmbH. The full responsibility for the data processing remains with us. Furthermore, we partly use plug-ins of other providers on our website; you will find more details below.

In order to offer you the best possible shipping service, we give your e-mail address to DHL when you send your order. DHL will then inform you about the status of your shipment. The DHL data protection regulations apply.

The contents of these pages were created with the greatest care. For the correctness, completeness and topicality of the contents we can take over however no guarantee. As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages in accordance with general laws.

Rights of concerned persons

If the processing is based on Article 6 paragraph 1 letter a DSGVO or Article 9 paragraph 2 letter a DSGVO (consent), you also have the right to revoke the consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation.

Right of access, Art. 15 DSGVO
You have the right to request information as to whether and to what extent your personal data will be processed (in particular purpose of processing, recipient of the data, duration of storage, etc.).

Right to rectification, Art. 16 DSGVO
You have the right to request that your stored data be corrected if it is incorrect or incomplete. This includes the right to be completed by supplementary statements or communications.

Right to cancellation, Art. 17 DSGVO
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. This is possible, for example, if the data is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected or if the data must be deleted due to legal obligations. In individual cases, however, this right may be excluded.

Right to limitation of processing, Art. 18 DSGVO
You have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted. This is possible, for example, if your data is incorrectly recorded or the data processing is unlawful. If the processing is restricted, the data may only be processed in narrowly defined cases.

Right to data transferability, Art. 20 DSGVO

Right of objection, Art. 21 DSGVO

In the event of your objection, we will check whether the legal requirements for the processing of your data are met and, if this is not the case, refrain from any further processing of your data.

Right to complain to the supervisory authority, Art. 77 DSGVO
You have the right to contact the competent supervisory authority of the Union or the Member States at any time in the event of any breaches of data protection regulations.

Google Tag Manager
This website uses the Google Tag Manager. This service allows website tags to be managed through an interface. The Google Tag Manager only implements tags. This means that no cookies are used and no personal data is collected. The Google Tag Manager triggers other tags that may collect data. However, the Google Tag Manager does not access this data. Web Analytics with Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). YouTube
Our website uses plug-ins from the YouTube site operated by Google. The site is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit one of our sites equipped with a YouTube plug-in, a connection is established to YouTube’s servers. The YouTube server will be notified which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, you can allow YouTube to directly associate your surfing behaviour with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. Google reCAPTCHA
On this website we use the reCAPTCHA function from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”). This function can be used to determine whether a natural person has made the entry or whether there is improper automated automated processing of data.

As part of this service, the IP address and any other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service are sent to Google.
In order to avoid misuse and spam, we have a legitimate interest in passing on this data according to Art. 6 Paragraph 1 lit.f GDPR. We would also like to point out that when using the reCAPTCHA function it is possible that personal data is sent to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.
