Our stab-resistant jacket is ideally suited to enjoy inconspicuous all-round protection during the cold season. Due to the patent-pending technology we have succeeded in covering all areas of the upper body. The belly and back areas are protected right down to the waist – a protection that high-quality vests cannot offer. Even the zipper is specially protected. The sides are protected as well as the shoulders. In addition, the lower and upper arms of the jacket are partially equipped with the protective material so that you can effectively defend against attacks. Although the jacket has such a large protection area, it weighs only 1.8 kg and is therefore always comfortable to wear. In order to adjust the fit even better, the protective material can be made tighter and wider by means of Velcro fasteners.
The jacket is water- and windproof, the hood offers additional protection against rain. The outer material of the jacket is easily washable. This way the jacket can be easily cleaned.
The technology used to make our stab protection vests and other stab-resistant garments is innovative and unique throughout the world. After many years of intensive research, we have succeeded in manufacturing a textile composite that is safe, light and flexible at the same time. Our stab-resistant jacket weighs only approx. 2.5 kg, for example. The protective layer is made of a high-strength aramid fabric to which a special plastic is inseparably applied. The combination of high strength fibres and the energy absorbing plastic create a material of which its specific properties even exceed those of stainless steel plates. The weight is approx. 4.5 times lower than that of a comparably thick stainless steel plate. We have taken the armadillo as a model to ensure flexibility and breathability. Just like this armored mammal, we make use of an overlapping scaly structure. However, our scaly structure differs from that of other suppliers in that it is not possible to push it apart. This allows us to achieve a high degree of safety in combination with maximum flexibility.
